Itinerary

Day 1 - Hanoi City Tour

Morning:

  • 08:00-08:30: Pick up from the hotel in the Old Quarter or Opera House for a Hanoi city tour.

  • Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake (1500 years old, oldest pagoda in Hanoi).

  • Explore the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilt house, learning about his life and leadership.

  • Stop by One Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of Hanoi.

  • Visit the Ethnology Museum showcasing the culture and traditions of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. If it’s Monday, the museum is closed and will be replaced by a Women’s Museum visit.

Lunch:

  • Lunch at a restaurant in the Old Quarter.

Afternoon:

  • Visit Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university dedicated to Confucianism and education.

  • Explore the Hoa Lo Prison (Hanoi Hilton) to learn about its history and the struggle for independence.

Evening:

  • 16:00: End of city tour. Return to the hotel or visit places like Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, or take a rickshaw ride around the Old Quarter (self-funded activities).

Day 3 - Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Hanoi
