Phong Nha – Kẻ Bàng National Park is a national park in Vietnam, located in the districts of Bố Trạch and Minh Hóa, Quảng Bình province, about 50 km northwest of Đồng Hới city and approximately 500 km south of Hanoi. The park borders the Hin Namno Nature Reserve in Khammouan province, Laos to the west, and is about 42 km east of the East Sea from the park’s boundary.
Phong Nha – Kẻ Bàng is situated in a large limestone area of about 201,000 hectares within Vietnamese territory, with the adjoining area in Laos also covering approximately 200,001 hectares of limestone. The core zone of the national park covers 85,754 hectares, with a buffer zone extending over 195,400 hectares.

14:00: Visit Vung Chua – Yen Island, the eternal resting place of the late General Vo Nguyen Giap.
16:00: Arrive in Dong Hoi city. Check in at a hotel near Nhat Le beach to rest, then enjoy free time for an afternoon swim.
19:00: Dinner. The evening is free to explore Dong Hoi. Overnight in Dong Hoi.
Morning: Early morning swim for those who wish to enjoy the cool and peaceful sunrise over the sea. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
07:30: The bus will pick up guests to explore Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park via the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail.
08:30: Arrive at Phong Nha, board a boat on the Son River to reach Phong Nha Cave (also known as Wet Cave). This cave is considered the most beautiful in Phong Nha – Ke Bang, meeting seven global criteria set by the British Royal Cave Association. It is the only underground river cave in Vietnam open for tourism. Discover the first 1.2 km of Phong Nha’s underground river by boat, then continue to explore Bi Ky Cave, Tien Cave, and Cung Dinh Cave.
11:30: Lunch and rest in Phong Nha.
13:00: Gather and return to Dong Hoi.
14:00: Visit and take photos at Quang Binh Gate, Quang Binh Museum, Ho Chi Minh Square, and Mother Suot Statue.
Afternoon: Continue to enjoy free time at Nhat Le beach.
18:30: Dinner. The evening is free to explore Dong Hoi. Overnight in Dong Hoi.
05:30: Depart for Quang Phu Sand Dunes to take photos and enjoy activities like sand sliding (self-paid). Watch the sunrise over the sea.
07:00: Return to the hotel to freshen up, rest, and have breakfast. Free time for a beach swim.
08:00: Depart for Hanoi. Stop for photos at the Gianh River Victory Monument, the historical boundary between the northern and southern regions during the Trinh-Nguyen Civil War.
11:00: Lunch in Ha Tinh city. After lunch, continue the journey back to Hanoi.
18:30: Arrive at the Hanoi Opera House, concluding the tour. See you again on future journeys.
